3 Best CyberPowerPC Gaming PCs Reviews

Best Budget CyberPowerPC- CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR with Core Ultra 5 225F + ARC B580 12GB

The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR is a top choice if you want a brand new pre-built gaming PC with the latest hardware that can run every AAA title without breaking the bank.

It is powered by the brand new Intel Core Ultra 5 225F. The new Arrow Lake CPUs haven’t been quite as popular compared to their previous gen offerings, but they are still excellent CPUs for gaming and especially for productivity. The 225F has 6 performance and 4 efficient cores with a total of 10 threads. Intel has decided to no longer support hyper-threading and instead focus on building beefier and more powerful cores which is why even without hyperthreading, this CPU can compete with the intel Core i5 14600K and Ryzen 5 9600X.

For the GPU, I’m really happy that the Gamer Xtreme comes paired with the Arc B580 – Intel’s budget champion these days. It is simply the most sensible choice for anyone on a budget who wants their PC to last a longer time. Most prebuilts at this price range aim for an RTX 4060 or RX 7600 which are decent choices but due to the lack of VRAM, I would much rather recommend the B580 over them.

The gaming performance is, as expected, quite good on the B580. The Last of Us Part II runs at an average of 80 FPS at 1440p very high settings with XeSS set to quality and the game doesn’t stutter at all or see massive dips in FPS due to the large 12 gig VRAM buffer. The large buffer comes in handy in games that need ray tracing as I mentioned earlier. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one such game that can easily gobble up almost 9 and a half gigabytes of VRAM at 1440p without any upscaling. The game runs smoothly at just shy of 60 FPS with medium graphics which is incredibly impressive.

Looking at the performance, this PC is going to be ready for GTA 6 when it finally launches on PC given that it will target the Xbox Series S. If you planned to go with a pre-built ready for GTA 6, then you don’t need to worry.

The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme VR is also a great PC for professional applications and content creators. It has a single stick of 16 GB DDR5 RAM clocked at 6400 MHz and a fast 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD which can easily store many games and large projects in. I would’ve certainly liked it if there were either two 8 GB sticks of DDR5 RAM running in dual channel or better yet 32 gigs of RAM in this PC.

After taking a good look at what other options there are for around the same price, it seems that every PC just has an RTX 4060 in it. The best alternative that I had my eye on is the LUXEBYTE gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 7600X, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. It is certainly a gorgeous all white PC with a strong selection of parts.

The problem is that the RTX 4060 is simply not going to cut it in scenarios where there is a need for more than 8 gigs of VRAM and will certainly drag the performance of the rest of the components down. System RAM can always be upgraded and 16 GB is still plenty for games and basic video and photo editing. The B580 and Core Ultra 225F simply represent a more balanced approach designed to last well into the future.

So, in conclusion, if you need a powerful but affordable gaming PC that is future-proof, the Gamer Xtreme VR is CyberPowerPC’s best offering. The new intel Core Ultra 225F is on a fresh new B860 platform and the Intel ARC B580 runs games smoothly at 1440p thanks to its larger 12 gigs of VRAM that Nvidia and AMD are seemingly refusing from offering on their budget cards.

To sum up what I like is the…
Excellent price-to-performance
Powerful CPU given the price
12 GB VRAM card on a budget

On the downside
Single stick of 16 GB RAM

Best Premium CyberPowerPC – CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme with Ryzen 9 9900X3D + RTX 5070 Ti

If you’re an enthusiast who wants a banger PC but doesn’t want to build it yourself, consider the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme.

It is powered by the Ryzen 9 9900X3D, a multithreading workhorse with 12 ultra fast Zen 5 cores. 8 of those 12 cores have the 3D V-Cache, making it simultaneously one of the fastest CPUs for both gaming and productivity.

As an ideal pairing for both gaming and productivity, the Gamer Supreme comes equipped with an RTX 5070 Ti. It can play pretty much any title at 4K with a locked 60 FPS at high settings. Only really demanding games may need a bit of tweaking, but even then it is still perfectly capable of handling them.

For example, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is currently one of the most notoriously difficult games to run and yet the 5070 Ti can play it at 1440p with epic settings at an average of 65 FPS. It even has power for 1440p ray tracing at ultra settings in Cyberpunk 2077 with an average of 73 FPS. The Last of Us Part 2, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Hogwarts Legacy all run smoothly at native 4K with ultra quality settings with a smooth 60-plus FPS experience.

The 9900X3D and 5070 Ti are paired with 32 gigs of DDR5-6000 and a large 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD making it a solid option for those looking for a powerful productivity machine.

Comparing the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme to other high-end machines, there is a clear distinction – almost all of them are powered by the 9800X3D and either the RX 9070 XT or 5070 Ti. At such a high budget, there is no reason to skip the 9900X3D – in gaming, it will perform almost identically to the 9800X3D while the extra cores will help in CPU-intensive tasks. I would also avoid the 9070 XT because the 5070 Ti is faster in gaming and productivity and has superior ray tracing. The 9070 XT is cheaper than the 5070 Ti so that means PC builders are charging more for a lower priced component.

If I had to seriously nitpick anything about the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme, I would say that the case is not that attractive. Sure, in the premium sector, you are more concerned with reliability, stability and speed. I think it is only fair if there is also a little bit of attention given to the looks department. The case itself is rock solid and the glass front and side panel exhibit a clean and well-managed build inside, but I have certainly seen much better looking PCs in the premium sector.

All in all, if you need a 4K gaming beast that also has the power to churn through highly intensive workloads like 3D modeling, rendering, 8K video editing, and AI, then the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme offers it all in a single package.

To sum up what I like is the…
Excellent price-to-performance
Powered by one of the fastest and most powerful CPUs
Uncompromised gaming performance even at 4K

On the downside
Unattractive case

Best Value CyberPowerPC – CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme with Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

The CPU is probably my absolute favorite part about this entire PC; it is powered by the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which, even though has been superseded by the 9800X3D, is still one of the fastest CPUs for gaming. The 8 Zen 4 cores with 3D V-Cache are good enough for any GPU well into the future.

For this PC, CyberPowerPC went with the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB.
Some titles like Horizon: Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnarok, and Red Dead Redemption 2 can all run at 1440p with maxed out settings easily at a locked 60 FPS.

The 5060 Ti is of course a budget 1440p card and it can easily deliver an excellent gaming experience in more demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones, and Silent Hill; but it is important to take the time to optimize the visual settings for the best result. Still, it is no slouch, and even with some tweaks, the 5060 Ti should still manage a healthy 60 FPS frame rate even with very high settings at 1440p.

All of this is thanks to the massive 16 GB VRAM on this card; it continues to prove that VRAM is very important for the performance of any GPU, especially in ray tracing.
The prime example of this is Indiana Jones and the Lost Circle where the 5060 Ti manages a healthy 77 FPS at 1440p with the Supreme preset, all while having ray tracing forcefully turned on.

Apart from gaming, this PC is a beast when it comes to productivity as well. CyberPowerPC has paired it with 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. The large 16 GB VRAM of the RTX 5060 Ti also comes in handy for those looking for a budget PC for working on complex 3D scenes and editing large 8K media.
Overall, while it is a gaming focused PC, it also happens to be a great future-proof workstation.

Now apart from the main specs, the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme sports an absolutely gorgeous white case with excellent airflow. It is designed to keep every component cool and looks great doing so.

Now with all of that out of the way, it is unfair to judge a PC in isolation. After looking around for alternatives, it became clear to me that no one is providing the same level of specs at the price of the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme; in short, it pretty much has no competition. There are many overpriced options in this price range and the only PC that tries to put up a fight is the Skytech Gaming PC with an i7 12700F and a 4070 Ti. These specs were acceptable at this price range a year or 2 ago, but not anymore. The 12700F is a great CPU but stands no chance in gaming against the 7800X3D.

The 4070 Ti is certainly faster than the 5060 Ti by a bit, but it has just 12 GB of VRAM compared to 16 on the 5060 Ti. The 5060 Ti is much better for productivity applications and even AI related workloads, and thanks to the large 16 GB buffer, it is simply going to outlast the 4070 Ti.

One more point to note is that both the 5060 Ti and 7800X3D are very efficient which means the total power draw for the entire PC, even under a full stressful load, is only going to reach 250 Watts.

So with that all out of the way, what can really compete with this PC? Well, the truth is, it isn’t all perfect. Building your own PC with a 7800X3D and 5060 Ti along with the same amount of RAM and SSD is going to save you quite a bit of money. Also, it is a good practice to build everything on your own, but you must be ready for the challenges. The Gamer Supreme is a pre-built that CyberPowerPC has already completely prepared for you. You simply have to plug-and-play as all the guesswork has been already taken care of.

That being said, I would’ve liked it if CyberPowerPC reduced the cost of this PC ever so slightly by making better choices, like going with an air cooler instead of a 360 mm AIO to cool the CPU. I guess the increased price is also coming from the included mouse, ke
