The current price gap matters more than the benchmark gap

At launch, AMD priced the RX 9070 XT at $599, while NVIDIA announced the RTX 5070 Ti at $749.

The launch difference was already $150.

The current market can be much wider.

In a recent September 2026 U.S. price-tracking snapshot, PC Gamer listed the RX 9070 XT from roughly $690 and the RTX 5070 Ti from roughly $950 .

That makes the GeForce about 38% more expensive in that snapshot.

Prices move constantly, so do not use those two numbers as permanent retail prices.
